Version 1.0.1 Submitted — The Store Is Coming!

Hello all — thanks for your interest in Pixel Wars, and a special shout-out to the family members who have already joined the canvas battle!

Today I submitted version 1.0.1 to Apple. This update gives new players a lot more pixels at sign-up so you can start creating right away, and it brings in-app purchases to the game: Bits packs (the in-game currency for refills, bombs, and nukes) and the WAR+ subscription, which comes with a bunch of perks — a bigger pixel cap, a faster generator, exclusive customization, and more.

While I wait for approval, I'll be working on version 1.0.2, which will include the full store build-out along with the ability to earn rewards by watching ads. We'll also be going through some of the gameplay based on feedback and making the necessary changes.
