1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Pixel Wars ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Pixel Wars is a real-time collaborative pixel canvas game where players place colored pixels on a shared canvas, compete for rank, and interact with other players through teams and chat. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18 you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Your Account
Registration
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Username
Your username must not impersonate another person, contain hate speech, slurs, or sexually explicit content. We reserve the right to require a username change or suspend an account with a violating username.
One Account Per Person
Creating multiple accounts to bypass bans or game restrictions is prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.
5. User-Generated Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create (pixels placed, messages sent, profile pictures uploaded). By using the Service you grant Pixel Wars a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store your content as part of operating the game.
Content Standards
All content you contribute — including pixels placed on the canvas, chat messages, profile pictures, and usernames — must comply with our Community Guidelines. You must not post content that is:
- Hateful, discriminatory, or targeted at individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
- Sexually explicit or pornographic
- Graphically violent or depicting gore
- Threatening, harassing, or intimidating to any individual
- Spam, advertising, or unsolicited commercial content
- In violation of any applicable law
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to place pixels or interact with the Service
- Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages
- Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt any other user's account
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks
- Circumvent any technical measures we use to restrict access
7. Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove any content, suspend, or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Reports submitted through the in-app report system are reviewed within 48 hours. Bans may be issued without prior warning for severe violations. We are not obligated to restore content or accounts that have been removed or banned.
8. In-App Purchases
Pixel Wars may offer optional paid features such as premium color packs. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Virtual items and currency have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. Intellectual Property
All elements of Pixel Wars — including the game engine, UI design, icons, sound effects, and branding — are the property of Pixel Wars and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our explicit written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXEL WARS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PIXELS OR IN-GAME PROGRESS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
