1. Overview
Pixel Wars operates a collaborative pixel canvas game on iOS, Android, and web. This policy explains what data we collect and your rights. By using Pixel Wars you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information

Email address, chosen username, optional profile picture and country of residence.

Gameplay Data

Pixels placed (position, color, timestamp), pixel count, rank, bomb/nuke usage, spin wheel activity, team membership.

Chat and Messages

Global (public) chat, team chat, and direct messages stored in our database. Global chat is visible to all players; all messages are visible to moderation when a report is filed.

Reports and Moderation

Report reason, reported content, and identities of reporter and reported user — used exclusively for moderation.

Technical Data

Server logs: IP addresses, device type, timestamps. Used for security and service improvement.

Advertising

Free players see banner ads served by Google AdMob, which collects device identifiers to deliver non-personalized ads and to prevent fraud. WAR+ subscribers see no ads.

3. How We Use Your Information
  • Operate and maintain the game and your account
  • Authenticate your identity and keep your account secure
  • Display your profile, rank, and pixel history to other players
  • Process reports and enforce community guidelines
  • Send transactional emails (verification, moderation notices)
  • Improve the game and diagnose technical issues

We do not sell your personal information. Free players see banner ads via Google AdMob, which collects device identifiers to deliver non-personalized ads; we do not use your data for personalized ad targeting. WAR+ subscribers see no ads.

4. Third-Party Services
Supabase

Database and auth infrastructure (SOC 2 Type II certified). supabase.com/privacy

Sightengine

Profile pictures scanned for prohibited content before storage. Not retained after scan. sightengine.com/privacy

Resend

Transactional email delivery. Email shared only to send messages. resend.com/privacy

Google AdMob

Serves banner ads to free players; collects device identifiers for ad delivery and fraud prevention. Non-personalized. policies.google.com/technologies/ads

5. Data Retention
Data retained while account is active. On deletion, all personally identifiable information is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized canvas snapshots may be retained.
6. Your Rights
  • Access — view your data from your profile page.
  • Deletion — delete your account from Settings → Delete Account.
  • Correction — update username, picture, and country from your profile.
  • Portability — contact us to request a copy of your data.
  • Opt-out — stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

7. Children's Privacy
Not directed at children under 13. Contact support@elisostudios.com if you believe a child under 13 has an account.
8. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS, row-level database security, and automated content moderation. Contact us immediately if you discover a security issue.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
