My Familia
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026

1. The short version

My Familia stores what your family puts into it, shows it only to the people you share it with, and shows you no ads. We do not sell your data, we do not track you across other apps, and kids never have accounts.

2. What we collect

Account: your email, display name, and optional profile details (color, photo, birthday, theme). Family content: the messages, wall posts, photos, events, lists, chores, and moods your household creates. Technical: basic logs needed to run and secure the service, and a coarse location derived from your IP address so the home screen can show your local weather. That is it: no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking.

3. Who sees your content

Your household's content is visible only to its members. Group chats are visible to their explicit member list, which may include people from another household when someone adds them or shares a chat invite code. If your household's admin links your familia's wall with another familia's, a wall post is shown to that familia only when its author explicitly shares it there; either admin can unlink at any time, which removes the shared posts from both walls. Nothing is public.

4. Kids

Kids appear in My Familia as managed profiles created and controlled by an adult in the household. Kids have no login, no account, and no direct access to the service, and we collect no information from them directly.

5. Where your data lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase (Postgres and object storage) in the United States, protected by row-level security so each family can only ever reach its own records. Photos are served through short-lived signed links.

6. Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple; we never see your card. Our subscription partner RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and an anonymous app user id to unlock premium for your household.

7. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account in the app (More, then Delete my account). Your account and personal data are removed. Content you contributed to shared spaces, such as messages, posts and photos, stays with the family it was shared with, shown as "Deleted member," because it belongs to those conversations as much as it did to you. If you were a household's only member, the household and its content are removed entirely.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time in the app, or by writing to us. California residents have rights under the CCPA and we honor them; we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

9. Security & retention

Transport is encrypted, access is role-restricted, and we keep data only as long as your account exists (or as law requires). Report security concerns to the address below and we will respond quickly.

10. Changes & contact

If this policy changes materially, we will say so in the app. Questions or requests: support@elisostudios.com.
